Abstract

This research provides an overview of the role of Islamic education in realizing the golden generation of 2045. This research is based on skepticism regarding the emergence of this golden generation because of the fact that the world of education in Indonesia is still shackled by various problems including poverty, violence, ever-changing curriculum, budgets and management. not well managed. These problems are the cause of the complexity of untangling the tangled threads and problems of the world of education in Indonesia, however the role of Islamic religious education in schools is very important because awareness of the religious values ​​embedded in a person can realize efforts to form a golden generation.
